Round Up Program
Using Your Bill to Change Lives.
The Round Up is a program that “rounds up” the monthly electric bills of participating Co-op members to the nearest dollar. The money raised by our members’ Round Up contribution in turn supports the New Hampshire Electric Co-op Foundation (NHEC Foundation), a separate non-profit 501(c)(3) which issues grants to charitable organizations, community programs and economic development projects that improve the quality of life in New Hampshire. The NHEC Foundation has granted nearly $1.8 million since 2006 to support charities, organizations and programs throughout the greater NHEC service territory. That’s a big impact for your small change!
How Round Up Works
Each member’s monthly Round Up contribution can be as little as a penny or as much as 99 cents. So if your bill this month is $92.75, your bill is rounded up to $93, with the extra 25cents contributed to the NHEC Foundation. On average a member’s contribution is just $6.00 per year.
How Your Change is Making a Difference
Through your contributions to the Round Up Program contributions, the NHEC Foundation has been able to invest in our communities. Round Up contributions help support:
- Feeding the Hungry
- Sheltering the Homeless
- Strengthening Families & Resolving Crisis
- Nurturing & Protecting Children and Youth
- Expanding Access to Dental & Healthcare Programs
- Investing in the Educational Goals of NHEC Members
- Supporting Culture and the Arts
- Enhancing Charitable Programs and Facilities
PLEASE NOTE: By selecting “Opt-In”, you are giving the Co-op permission to round up your electric bill to the next dollar. These proceeds will go directly to the NHEC Foundation. Your electric bill will be rounded up each month until you instruct the Co-op to discontinue your enrollment by calling Member Solutions at 1-800-698-2007.
